Swift Micro Callers
Swifts have been declining rapidly over the years. It is estimated that the UK swift population declined by 58% between 1995 and 2018. In the 10 years running up to 2018 they declined by 41%.
As swifts are colonial nesters using one of our Swift Micro Calling systems helps to lure in birds. Hopefully they will chose to nest in the boxes and help establish a new breeding site for swifts. By encouraging more nesting sites we can help to reduce the declining swift population.

Swift Calling Features
Our swift calling systems are designed to effectively attract swifts to your nesting boxes. These play a loop of various swift calls including various breeding pairs defending their nests. When swifts are searching for a nesting site they are attracted to the sound of other breeding pairs.
Why Choose Us?
Graham Fell started to develop swift calling systems in 2020. He has created these systems working closely with local and national swift groups and conversationalists.

Innovative Swift Micro Caller
Our swift calling systems are designed to effectively attract swifts to nesting boxes.
At the start of May swifts will start to look for breeding sites for the current year, and later on in July and August they are on the hunt for sites for next year. It can take a few breeding seasons for a swift to find a nest box, but be patient. Once a pair is established they will return each year. Using a swift micro caller greatly increases the chances that a new pair will find a nest box. Our callers can be programmed to play twice a day, this has a huge impact on the chance of a pair of swifts finding the nest box. Mounting the speaker inside the box also makes it easier for the birds to find the entrance to the nest.
